This Privacy Policy explains how FreightDeck LLC ("FreightDeck," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the FreightDeck application, website, and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy. The Service is a business tool for logistics professionals.

• Account information — name, email, company, password (stored hashed), and role, provided when you register or are approved.
• Billing information — when you subscribe, payment is processed by Stripe. We receive limited billing details (e.g., subscription status, last four digits, billing country) but do not store your full card number; card data is handled by Stripe.
• Content you submit — load details, dimensions, bills of lading, quotes, and similar data you enter or upload to use the Service's tools.
• Usage & device data — actions in the app, rate/permit lookups, log data, IP address, browser/device type, and timestamps, used to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
• Communications — messages, feedback, and support requests you send us.

2. How We Use Information

• Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service and its estimates.
• Process subscriptions, billing, and referrals, and prevent fraud.
• Authenticate accounts and secure the Service.
• Provide support and respond to you.
• Analyze usage to improve features and accuracy.
• Send service, billing, and (where permitted) product communications.
• Comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service.

3. What We Do Not Do

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share the load, customer, pricing, or business data you enter with other FreightDeck subscribers. We do not use your Content to compete with you.

4. How We Share Information

We share information only with:

• Service providers that help us run the Service — including Stripe (payments), cloud hosting and infrastructure, email delivery, and mapping/mileage and public regulatory data providers — under obligations to protect it.
• Legal & safety — when required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
• Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

5. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
